|I am very pleased to announce that today I am re-launching my on-line shop. |
I shall slowly be adding my handmade products and some carefully sourced vintage items to it's shelves. Lots of OOAK handmade rag dolls are awaiting adoption right now. I hope you will enjoy taking a look when you have a moment - Thank you to all who have made a purchase or two from me in the past.

Sunday 18th September
10:30am - 4:00pm
The Larmer Tree Gardens - Tollard Royal - Salisbury - SP5 5PY
Not long now before the much anticipated Larmer Tree Vintage Brocante.
I'm finishing off my hand crafted pieces and selecting special vintage treasures to bring with me.
This OOAK doll is a tiny size compared to my other handmade ladies - She's dressed in a beautiful french floral...
And has ticking stockings and hand painted boots.
She is called Dulcie!
She will join all the other ladies that I have created especially for this event.
I've made this lovely cushion too, with embroidered rose centrepiece.
And special one-off pieces.
Vintage button craft packs.
Tiny treasures and handmade greetings cards.
Looks like its going to be a fabulous event, with stalls to delight, music, homemade teas and cake.
The perfect Sunday!

Just completed a new collection of handmade greetings cards...
Each one is slightly different and features a section from an old map of Paris.
I have added hand written 'Paris' signs inside little wooden frames.
And finished with Victorian flower scraps...
and pretty bird illustrations.
All ready for the Dorset Brocante this month.

Lavender is sitting patiently waiting to travel to Dorset next month for The Larmer Tree Vintage Brocante, where she will be for sale.
She is dressed in some rare fragments of antique French toile de jouy which I have roughly patched together for her skirt.
Beneath this she wears a muslin petticoat and a pair of vintage hand embroidered linen bloomers.
Her pure wool lavender coloured jacket is decorated with mismatched buttons and a vintage china floral brooch.
Thank you for stopping-by.

|I have been wanting to create this for so long...And once I'd started, I realised how long it was going to take to finish! Its been several days work, but finally its done...|
Using a beautiful Victorian photograph album as the base, I have been adding samples of my antique French Scheurer fabrics.
About 7 years ago, I was lucky enough to be able to buy a large quantity of beautiful unused examples of the fabrics. Since then, I have always been a little wary of cutting into them to use in my crafts, but I thought by creating this mini archive, at least a small record of them with always exist.
Each fabric has been glued onto card and then slid into the album.
The fabrics date from 1884 to 1905 and are truly exquisite.
The album with its decorated pages is pretty too!
I shall be offering it for sale at The Vintage Brocante, but if it doesn't sell, I shall be happy to retain this for myself!
